The league was originally founded by Jodi Horton (Janice Horton) and Al Avery (Susan Pirie) in 1989.

The Pirates, Panthers, Bedrockers, Magic, Ron's pumping and Ambush were just some of the teams during it's years. The league folded in 1998 only to be re-established 10 years later in 2008 which seen the Bedrockers, Valley Lads, Wolves and Ideal Roofing take to the field. In 2009 the Panthers, Braves, Zig Zags, River Rats and Smiths Falls Wolf Pack joined the Bedrockers and Ideal roofing bringing the total to seven teams.


A couple new faces and team names joined the league in 2010 as the Army Dillos and Stealers joined the Bedrockers, Ideal mixed nuts, Braves, Zig Zags and Smiths Falls Wolf Pack. In 2011 the league added an eighth team to the league as the Packers, Brewers, Monster Ballers and 5 Arch Express joined the Bedrockers, Braves, Stealers and Smiths Falls Wolf Pack. 2012 had the Master Batters, Spartans and Hicks with sticks join the Bedrockers, Brewers, Monster Ballers, 5 Arch Express and Smiths Falls Wolf Pack. 2013 found a ninth team added to the league as the Valley Sluggers joined the Bedrockers, Brewers, Hicks with Sticks, 5 Arch Express, Monster Ballers, Spartans, Smiths Falls Wolf Pack and Padres formerly known as the Master Batters.
